PROTECT YOUR SHELVING

The racks have the function of storing materials and goods essential to the company, it is therefore necessary to secure them so that what they contain and the staff employed in the area are protected.

Shelving protections play a fundamental role in the prevention of occupational risks that may arise in the warehouse and are installed with the aim of:

Avoid falling loads in work and transit areas.

Reduce the impact of the trolleys during handling procedures.

The shelving is in fact a structure designed exclusively to support a static load. Any impact caused, for example, by a goods handling trolley, generates a dynamic force that can easily cause costly damage to the shelving and sometimes cause it to collapse.

Equipping the shelving with the right protections is therefore essential to increase the levels of prevention and reduce risks.

Two types of shelving protections that we offer in the catalog:

1. Bumper system

They absorb the impact of the elements against the shelving and preserve the integrity of the structure that supports the loads. Click here to find out more.

2. Extra safety elements for handling loads

The storage and removal of loads from the shelves is a critical process that brings with it some warehouse risks, which can be mitigated by installing:

Fall protection nets: these are industrial metal nets whose installation is optional. These are placed in the rear part of the racks that overlook the work areas or the aisles, in order to prevent the goods from falling. Click here to find out more.

PERIODIC CHECK OF SHELVES

Periodic checks on the racks allow to minimize risks and unsafe operations, avoiding costly restorations and replacements, and thus guaranteeing the stability of the racks.

Tecnotelai, for the periodic checks of the shelving, relies on a consolidated and qualified partner, which operates according to the indications of the UNI EN 15635 standard, able to support the employer and the RSPP in the periodic verification of the shelving, verifying the status conservation / efficiency of the shelving and identify any restoration needs.
